Paddington Clinic’s Frequently Asked Questions are designed to give you clear, straightforward information about how we work and what to expect from your care.
Here you’ll find answers about our treatment approach, practitioner team structure, appointments, and general clinic processes, helping you feel informed and confident as you begin your natural health journey with us.
You can request specific treatments if you have had a great experience with them before or have a particular interest.
However, generally treatment modalities will be selected by your Senior Practitioner to get you the best results sooner.
They will go over your testing results, work alongside your Associate Practitioner, and tailor a treatment solution that is best suited for you.
They will work with you under the recommendation of the Senior Practitioner to help you reach optimal health.
This allows you to utilize the knowledge, skill and treatments offered by different practitioners.
Your health solution will be managed by your Senior practitioner so all practitioners are working together to get you the best results.
However, if more treatment services are needed to get you optimal result, additional practitioners will be available to assist you.
Any testing done is to aid the efficiency of your treatment. It will also give clear before and after information so we can assess how well your treatment is progressing.
Each session will be assessed for its beneficial change. Some people need more, some less to get the outcome they are looking for.
As a general rule we say 6 sessions is considered a course of treatment.
If you are unsure check with your health fund or ask at reception.
This will look at your current symptoms and underlying factors contributing to these symptoms. This is a great way to get a very clear picture of where your health is, where it needs to go and what needs to be done to get you there.

There are different styles of acupuncture that could be considered painful but the styles we use are very gentle.
How much this flows onto symptomatic change can differ between people.
Some people need accumulative change while others have very rapid change.
Acupuncture sessions should have an accumulative effect; the more your system returns to optimal function, the longer the benefit lasts.
We do encourage people to do proactive maintenance, which for most people is about a month.
Minimise anything strenuous or stressful; but we appreciate you do have a life.
