Iridology may reveal both inherent weaknesses, and strengths within the physical, and often the mental and emotional bodies. These weaknesses may be reflected within certain body systems e.g. digestive, lymphatic system, circulatory or nervous system. It is these weaknesses that often allow us the potential to suffer from chronic or recurrent conditions. Iridology may also reveal the functioning of body systems e.g. adrenals and nervous system may be stressed, over stimulated, or exhausted, the digestive system may be sluggish, under functioning or 'toxic', or the lymphatics may be congested.

Iridology offers an insight into the constitutional characteristics of the individual, and therefore allows treatment regimes and/or dietary modifications much more specific and often more effective.
